Starting with a Real Problem
In 2021, our founder noticed something that bothered them. They'd visit their grandparents in Limerick and watch them struggle with WhatsApp. They couldn't figure out video calls. They were nervous about sharing photos. They felt left behind as family moved online.
That's when theantisocialindex Limited started. We're not a big tech company. We're people who get frustrated with technology too. But we also understand what it's like when you've never owned a smartphone before, and suddenly everyone's expecting you to know how video calls work.
We've trained hundreds of adults over the past few years. We've seen people's faces light up when they finally understand how to call their grandchildren on Viber. We've watched confidence grow. And we've learned that the problem isn't you — it's usually just that nobody explained it the right way.
